Explore Downtown LA's LGBTQ+ History with fellow Rotarians!

You and fellow Rotarians will explore LA's significant Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, & Allied (LGBTQ+) sites and cultural landmarks that tell stories of perseverance, controversy, and liberation during the early fight for LGBTQ+ Equality. Learn how the City of Angels gave birth to a rich, vibrant and little-known LGBTQ+ local history. Discover how Los Angeles has frequently been the first and most influential region in the ongoing global fight for equality.

The Walk in Our Shoes LGBTQ+ History Tour of LA is presented by THE LAVENDER EFFECT® and sponsored by RISE (Rotarians In Service of Equality).
